Applications ready for 2016 Nurse Leader Fellowship Program

The Nurse Leader Fellowship Program (NLFP) is designed to enhance the leadership abilities of CNIIIs and CNIVs throughout UNC department of nursing. NLFP is a six-session commitment with didactic classroom sessions complemented by the assignment of an experienced mentor.

The program will include topics such as leading self and others, negotiating and communicating with others, crisis leadership, teaching self and others, presenting self and presenting to others, a behind-the-scenes understanding of UNC and many other career-enhancing sessions. 

The 2016 Fellowship will run from April to June with classes every other Thursday morning from 8 a.m. to noon. Applications are due to Stephanie Bohling by Feb. 29, 2016. Completed applications may be returned via email or sent via inter-office mail to Stephanie at Hillsborough Hospital, prior to Feb. 29. The application is available here. Fellows will be informed of program participation the first week of March.
