Since Go-Live #6, some providers have been unable to see consult or procedure orders when writing notes, unable to link a note to an order, or unable to identify a note for co-sign. To fix these issues, make sure you select the 'Details' button in the 'Notes' window to access all of these options. UPDATE: THIS ISSUE HAS BEEN RESOLVED AS OF 10 AM THURSDAY, AUG. 3. At this time, Epic@UNC is not accurately reflecting a patient’s history of external colonoscopies (those completed outside of UNC Health Care). The Epic@UNC team is actively working to resolve this issue. In the meantime, the ambulatory Colon Cancer Screening BPAs have been turned off. Please use the 'Other Orders' tab in Chart Review to view a patients colonoscopy history.

SHP Dependent Eligibility Audit Deadline Has Passed

Employees enrolled in the State Health Plan (SHP) who have not yet submitted their documents or have had documents denied are encourage to upload documentation immediately. The SHP has informed the Benefits Office that they will not terminate dependent coverage Aug. 1, but that the SHP will reach out to affected members in an effort to collect their documents and advise members prior to the termination of dependent coverage.
