Scholarship Opportunity for Children of UNC Medical Center Employees

The UNC Volunteer Association is pleased to announce and sponsor the first annual Employee Family Scholarship program. Scholarships are available for award to children of full time UNC Medical Center employees (including Hillsborough Campus and Wakebrook) who are entering or are enrolled in post-secondary education with the intent of entering a health care profession.

UNC Health Care implementing 'No Show and Late Cancellation' policy

UNC Health Care is implementing a system-wide 'No Show and Late Cancellation' policy in its outpatient clinics and services. Beginning Aug. 15, if a patient misses his/her appointment and does not notify the outpatient clinic/service, the patient will receive a 'no-show' letter to remind them of our policy and provide information about cancelling and rescheduling appointments.

2017 North Carolina Cardiovascular Update

This educational activity will provide a refresher on optimal treatment of various cardiovascular diseases. Also, new technologies and drug therapies will be discussed.
