During quiet time lights are dimmed, the doors to patients' rooms are closed, the number and volume of overhead paging is reduced, ringer volumes on phones are decreased and patients are cared for but minimally disturbed. Implementing "quiet time" has been shown to improve both patient and staff satisfaction and several units at UNCH have implemented quiet time with similar results.

Join us as Dr. Christine Hedges discusses the Introduction of the Quiet Time Toolkit: Tips and tools to help introduce Quiet Time from Lessons Learned on 3W ad 6 BT.

There was no internet connection in the conference room during the January NGR thus no ability to join via WebEx.
