Writing for Resilience at UNC Medical Center

Writing for Resilience is a weekly writing group open to all in the hospital and community. Come and enjoy a respite for reflecting and writing. Their fall sessions begin on Sept. 25 from noon to 1 p.m.

Please join us on Tuesdays from noon to 1 p.m. in the John M. Reeves Memorial Chapel as we gather for our fall sessions of Writing for Resilience. Come and enjoy a respite from the demands of your day--to write and reflect. All are welcome. No writing experience necessary. No registration required.

Please enter the chapel in silence and begin writing in response to the opening prompt on the whiteboard, or about anything else on your mind.

Facilitated by Heidi Gessner, UNC Hospitals Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator, and Carol Henderson, writer and workshop leader. Refreshments by Joy Javitz, found of DooR to DooR (doortodoor.com).

For more information, please email heidi at heidi.gessner@unchealth.unc.edu. Hope to see you there!
