​The political candidate will hold a rally on UNC Campus September 19 starting at 5:30 p.m. at Bell Tower Amphitheater. Heavy pedestrian and vehicular traffic is expected throughout the afternoon and evening. This may be especially heavy along Emergency Room Drive. UPDATED: Neurosciences Main Corridor Closure

Beginning Oct. 7, 2019, the corridor from the front of Neurosciences to the rear loading dock will close for approximately 10 weeks due to construction of the new Emergency Transition Dept. on the ground floor. There will be no access beyond the main visitor elevators on the ground floor.

Scheduling/Registration Staff: Content Error for Some BCBS and Passport Patients in RTE

There is a subset of patients that have duplicate ID Numbers in the system with the payer. This is causing a “Content Error” to be returned when Real Time Eligibility is triggered from within registration. These duplicates are the result of the patient having a gap in their coverage and then later re-instating. BCBS and Passport are aware of the issue and are working towards a fix; however this will not be in place until late October.
