Trauma elevator closed for three weeks beginning Aug. 20
On Monday, Aug. 20, Plant Engineering will begin work on the Trauma Elevator located in Women’s and Children’s Hospital to create a new stop for 4th floor Anderson Pavilion in conjunction with the Cardio-Thoracic Intensive Care Unit project. The Trauma elevator will be out of service for approximately three weeks.
Fire Alarm Testing – Aug. 22
Plant Engineering will be performing a fire alarm system test for the Infirmary building from 5 - 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 22. During this time, there may be intermittent audio and visual alarms, but these should be very limited and will be silenced upon activation. All testing will conclude by 7:30 a.m. and systems will be restored to normal operations at this time.
Drop-In photo session for School of Medicine faculty and UNC Health Care APPs
A free drop-in photography session for UNC School of Medicine faculty members and UNC Health Care advanced practice providers (AuDs, CRNAs, CNMs, CNSs, CPPs, LCSWs, NPs, OTs, PTs, PAs and SLPs) will be offered Aug. 22.
