As we move closer toward a more unified Health Care System, you will begin to receive regular updates regarding changes. As the first to transition to myTime and the myHR Employee Service Center and portal, you paved the way for further unification across the system.
Beginning in August, Human Resources policies* will be standardized across UNC Health Care’s owned entities (Caldwell, Chatham, UNC Medical Center, UNC Physician’s Network, UNC REX, UNC Rockingham and non-state Shared Services staff). Updated policies will be phased-in using the following categories to allow a structured and efficient transition across the system:
- Standards of Behavior – Effective, Aug. 30
- Recruitment – Effective, Sept. 30
- Compliance – Effective, Oct. 30
- Pay/Time – Effective, Dec. 15
- Benefits – Effective, Jan. 1, 2020
Resources have been developed and can be accessed through the myHR portal. They will include everything you need to know in order to understand upcoming policy updates.
