Save the date for the 2019 School of Medicine Wellness Week sponsored by the School of Medicine Well-Being Committee. There will be a variety of events throughout the week of November 18th—22nd, including a visiting professor lecture with Dr. Danielle Ofri of NYU School of Medicine and a scholarship expo.

Danielle Ofri, MD, PhD, is a physician at Bellevue Hospital in New York City, and a faculty member of NYU School of Medicine. She writes about medicine and the doctor-patient connection for the New York Times, Slate Magazine, and other publications.
Dr. Ofri is co-founder and Editor-in-Chief of the Bellevue Literary Review, the first literary journal to arise from a medical setting. She is the author of a collection of books about the world of medicine, including “What Patients Say, What Doctors Hear”, “What Doctors Feel”, and “Medicine in Translation: Journeys with My Patients”.
