At the recent American Anthropological Association Annual Meeting, Mara Buchbinder, PhD, Associate Professor in the Department of Social Medicine was awarded the Polgar prize.
The prize is awarded to a professional medical anthropologist for the best paper published in Medical Anthropology Quarterly during the last year’s volume. The paper is:Buchbinder, Mara. 2018.
