The vaccine clinic at the Friday Center surpassed a remarkable milestone on Wednesday: more than 10,000 patients have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
This is a terrific achievement for a clinic that has only been open a few short weeks.
Across all three UNC Medical Center vaccine locations we have administered 31,000 doses of vaccine since they were opened, with 4,800 delivered at Hillsborough and more than 15,000 doses at the UNC Cancer Hospital.
