ENT specialty nationally ranked by U.S. News


CHAPEL HILL, N.C.  — UNC Hospitals in Chapel Hill is cited as the No. 2 hospital in the state and within the Triangle in US News’ 2024-25 “Best Hospitals” report released today. UNC Health Rex in Raleigh is rated as the No. 4 hospital in the state and No. 3 in the Triangle region.

The Ear, Nose & Throat (ENT) specialty at UNC Hospitals is nationally ranked (No. 44). To be nationally ranked in an adult specialty, a facility must be rated among the top 50 hospitals in the nation for that discipline.

UNC Hospitals is also rated as “high performing” in five adult specialties including:

UNC Nash in Rocky Mount is rated “high performing” in both Heart attack and Heart failure.
