Flu vaccinations begin Sept. 9

To ensure the health of our patients, colleagues and families, UNC Hospitals and our off-campus locations will once again hold a required employee flu vaccine program during the 2013-2014 flu season. Please read this important information about the 2013-2014 flu program!

Medical staff, contract workers, students, volunteers, vendors, and any School of Medicine employees identified as providing service in one of UNC Hospitals or in our off-campus locations are also required to receive a flu vaccine or confirm religious or medical exemption.

Please read here for more information about how you can become "flu compliant!" And please note that if you receive a flu shot that is not administered by Occupational Health Services (OHS), either at OHS in Memorial Hospital or by OHS nurses at one of our off-campus locations, you must fill out the Non-Occupational Health Services Provider form! All appropriate forms are available on the 2013-2014 flu page.

UNC Hospitals will also run a 24-hour mass vaccination drill on the main campus beginning at 7 a.m. on Oct. 7 and ending at 7 a.m. on Oct. 8.
