State Health Plan Open Enrollment

With the exception of employee only coverage on the 70/30 PPO, all premiums for health insurance are increasing for 2016 by approximately 2.8%. In addition, the benefits of each plan are changing as well. Please take time to review the changes and make an informed decision.

For employees on the 80/20 Plan or the Consumer-Directed Health Plan (CDHP) who wish to maintain or lower premiums, you must complete the three activities to retain wellness premium credits and our Health Insurance Special Pay:
  • A health assessment
  • Tobacco attestation
  • Designate a primary care provider

Please note: Because many members have not been able to view the Patient-Center Medical Home video, watching the video is no longer a required part of the Primary Care Provider (PCP) premium credit activity. The State Health Plan is working on this issues and encourages members to continue to try and view the video when they enroll, but members WILL NOT be penalized for not viewing the video.
