Writing for Caregivers Public Reading

Studies show that writing about deep and important matters improves our immunity and can offer fresh and healing perspectives. In this busy and sometimes difficult season, we often don’t take time for ourselves to reflect and go inward. Come sit, rest, and enjoy short and wise readings by members of Writing for Caregivers.

Experience the restorative power of words and stories. The luscious writings will cover many topics: childhood memories, epiphanies, tributes to loved ones, family life, coping with loss, finding hope, and other small jewels.

There will be a short reception afterwards with refreshments and snacks.

Free and open to all. For more information, please email Heidi Gessner at Heidi.gessner@unchealth.unc.edu.
