Updated Cadence Scheduling Workflow for Out of Network Patients

Beginning on Monday, Sept. 11, there will be a new step when either scheduling or cancelling appointments for patients who are Out of Network (OON). Find more details here.

When creating a referral during the scheduling process, schedulers will now have to select a status of “OON-Patient Agreed to Pay” and add a note to the referral stating the patient has been advised of their OON status and agree to pay for all charges incurred during their visit. When cancelling a scheduled appointment for an OON patient, the scheduler will need to update the referral status to “OON-Patient Cancelled."
