Children’s Research Institute Seminar Series “Centering Adolescents in the Provision of Sexual and Reproductive Healthcare”

Bianca Allison, MD, MPH is a practicing general pediatrician, health services researcher, and Assistant Professor in the Department of Pediatrics Division of General Pediatrics and Adolescent Medicine. Her research focuses on improving adolescent-centered sexual and reproductive healthcare delivery in primary care settings. She has received funding and authored manuscripts on biases in pediatricians’ contraceptive counseling, adolescent experiences with contraceptive counseling, and adolescent-focused contraceptive decision aids. She currently has a K12 award from NIH/NCATS to adapt and test a provider-focused training on adolescent-centered contraceptive counseling and care. Read more >>
