On Monday, March 29, Dr. Josefina Bañales will present “We Gotta Do Better”: Adolescents’ Beliefs, Feelings, and Actions Towards Racism. Dr. Josefina Bañales is an Assistant Professor in Developmental Psychology and the Learning Research and Development Center at the University of Pittsburgh. Her research examines adolescents’ critical racial consciousness development, or how youth develop beliefs, feelings, and behaviors that challenge racism.

Please join us for April’s Children’s Research Seminar.  Our speaker will be Chantel Martin, PhD, MSPH.  She will present “Early life origins of health disparities: the role of neighborhood environments.”  We hope to see you there!
