The Selective Use of Radiation in Solid Malignancies – Research to Practice (UNCLCN) – Free CE Credit

May 22 @ 12:00 pm - 1:00 pm

Radiation therapy is an integral part of cancer treatment across many disease sites, but the locoregional control benefits must be weighed against the potential toxicities. During this webinar, Kevin Pearlstein, MD, will review the role of radiation in cancer care including basic radiobiologic principles, logistics, and toxicities. He will discuss several recent studies examining the omission of radiation for different solid malignancies and review strategies to identify patients who will benefit the most from radiation. Webinar Flyer
