This year’s Whitehead Lecturer is Ana Felix, MD, MBBCh, Assistant Professor of General Medicine and Clinical Epidemiology. The Whitehead Lecture has been an annual event since 1980. The lecturer is nominated and voted on by UNC SOM students, and chosen by UNC SOM Student Government representatives.
As of April 2021, patients gained greater access to their healthcare records through UNC MyChart. This one hour training will cover some of the safety and security issues involved with "Open Note" and how to employ safe practices in documentation. One hour of Nursing CE credit available.
