Changes to OIS phone support
In order to improve the quality and efficiency of the OIS Help Desk services, we are planning to move our telephone support to the ITS phone services on main campus. As of Thursday Sept. 24, all after hours calls (5 p.m. - 8 a.m. and weekends) to the OIS Help Desk number (966-1325) will be automatically directed to the ITS telephone support team.

Don't lose your internet access on February 27!
OIS, together with ITS, will be activating Network Access Control (NAC) in the buildings listed below on Monday, February 27. If prompted, please follow the steps to download and install the NAC agent onto your computer to get access to the network. Only devices that are “wired” to connect to the network will be affected. Wireless devices will not be affected.

UNC-1 Wireless Access to be removed from several SOM buildings October 7
The UNC-1 Wireless SSID will be removed from the following School of Medicine buildings on Monday, Oct. 7: MBRB, AHEC, AHEC/MedAir, Bondurant, Taylor, and EPA. To avoid losing wireless connectivity, users should install the UNC-Secure configuration as soon as possible.
