Changes to Employee Separation Date
Effective immediately, an employee’s date of separation will now be recorded when the employee clocks-out rather than when they clock-in. The effect of this change should be minimal, but please note that retirees should never work past 11:59 p.m. on the last day of their final month of employment, as this can affect how the separation date is recorded and, as a result, have an effect on retirement benefits.
