Planned October 4 Downtime: Fuji Synapse Cardiovascular PACS System
A planned downtime is scheduled from 10 p.m. Friday, October 4, until 6 a.m. Saturday, October 5, for the Fuji Synapse Cardiovascular PACS System at all locations using Epic@UNC.

This change has allowed us to streamline the results console build to a single line for most lab values. As a result, you may need to update your personal Smartphrases or SmartLinks with the new base names in order to pull in these lab values.

Scheduling/Registration Staff: Content Error for Some BCBS and Passport Patients in RTE
There is a subset of patients that have duplicate ID Numbers in the system with the payer. This is causing a “Content Error” to be returned when Real Time Eligibility is triggered from within registration. These duplicates are the result of the patient having a gap in their coverage and then later re-instating. BCBS and Passport are aware of the issue and are working towards a fix; however this will not be in place until late October.

There is a planned downtime for the PowerScribe Radiology Dictation system from 1 - 4 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 7. Please contact your local radiology department for details on how to receive radiology reports if needed during the downtime. This downtime impacts PowerScribe at Caldwell UNC Health Care, Nash UNC Health Care, Pardee UNC Health Care, UNC Medical Center and UNC REX Healthcare.
