UNC Adult Cystic Fibrosis Center's Fall Fundraiser and Cornhole Tournament
Join us on Sunday, September 23rd from 12pm-4pm, for an afternoon of FUNdraising! We are raising money and collecting non-perishable food items for our CF Patient Assistance Fund and Patient Food Pantry! This fund is used for medical devices, transportation assistance, and most recently grocery assistance. We hope to raise awareness around food insecurity issues among those living with Cystic Fibrosis and support patients who have an increased caloric need but who are unable to afford meals in order to support that need.

Colorectal cancer is the fourth most common cancer in the U.S., with about 143,000 new patients diagnosed last year. Thanks to increased awareness about screenings, the death rate from colorectal cancer has been dropping for more than 20 years. Please join for this talk for an overview of colorectal cancer that information about prevention, screening, diagnosis and treatment, and survivorship.

Please join the UNC Cancer Network for an online, interactive lecture with Elisabeth P. Dellon, MD, MPH. Community Lunch and Learn lectures are geared toward cancer patients, survivors, family, friends, and care givers/supports but anyone interested in learning more about cancer is welcome to join us. Every lecture has a question and answer section at the end so feel free to ask the presenter for clarification or more information.
