Clinical Scholars is a national leadership program for experienced health care providers. Applications open on January 10 to teams of health care providers, representing different specialties and disciplines, who want to collaborate to tackle complex health problems. Clinical Scholars Fellows embrace and refine their ability to use their voice and skills to innovate and lead in both their workplaces and their communities.

Clinical Scholars apply in teams of three to five licensed health care providers with:
* Five or more years post-training and licensure in their chosen health profession;
* Active roles seeing patients and/or training or supervising other providers;
* At least one team member who has a terminal degree for practice in their health-related field; and
* Sponsorship by an applicant organization, but can be from within the same or across different organizations, and may already work together or be newly formed.
