The UNC Hospitals AHA Training Center located at the Timberlyne Shopping Center offers CPR training for all employees, including a course specifically for employees who are not licensed/credentialed health care workers.
The class teaches adult and child CPR and use of an automated external defibrillator (AED). This class is free to all UNC Hospitals employees and there is no written test to complete the training.
These classes are listed in LMS as Heartsaver/AED. The class code is ALSCEHTSAV. Spaces are limited so sign up early. Please also talk to your managers about receiving compensation for taking a non-required course.
