To help UNC Health Care system shared services teams, like ISD and Human Resources, work more collaboratively in order to better serve our customers, UNC Health Care has leased space in two Morrisville buildings: 1025 Think Place and 5221 Paramount Parkway. Both buildings are located next to each other in the same office park. Human Resources teams will begin moving to the UNC Health Care’s Morrisville campus in January. Please read the timeline for move.
The timeline is outlined below:
- Jan. 27-30: Benefits, Compensation, HR Information Systems (HRIS), Payroll, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion department will relocate to 1025 Think Place. Offices will close 2 p.m. on Friday, Jan. 27, for the move and will reopen Monday, Jan. 30 at 8 a.m.
- Feb. 17-20: Learning and Organization Development and UNC Medical Center Recruiting will move to 5221 Paramount Parkway. Offices will close 2 p.m. on Feb. 17, and will reopen Feb. 20, at 8 a.m. Nurse Recruitment for UNC Medical Center will remain at the Hedrick Building and open during normal business hours.
- Learning and Organizational Development will begin offering most classes for all owned entities at the Morrisville campus in April 2017. Classes will continue at their present locations until March 31, 2017. Classes offered from January – June 2017 are available now for registration in LMS. Please pay close attention to notification from LMS with regard to class locations and room numbers.
- UNC Medical Center new employee orientation will remain at the Hedrick Building until further notice.
If you have business with any of these teams after their move date, please call to verify location and/or receive service over the phone. Phone numbers and emails will remain the same.
Please note that UNC Medical Center HR Executive Sean Womack and Employee Relations representatives will remain on the Medical Center campus, Hillsborough HR Executive Jodie Solow will continue to be on the Hillsborough Campus two days each week, and the HR team at Chatham will remain onsite.
