The UNC Health Care Compliance and Privacy Office is updating its Hotline reporting tool on June 27. Find out more information at this link.
The tool will allow employees, patients and guest to report compliance and privacy concerns via the Hotline number at 1-800-362-2921 or by visiting the online portal at http://hotline.unchealthcare.org.
Compliance concerns may include:
- Fraud, waste, and abuse
- Billing, documentation, and coding errors
- Conflicts of interest
- Code of conduct violations
Privacy concerns may include:
- Misdirected Protected Health Information (PHI)
- Unauthorized disclosure of, or access to, PHI
- Inappropriate access to patient information
- Potential violations of Social Media Policy
