A week’s worth of events and activities have been planned in honor of nursing staff recognition week. A new event for this year: the NSRW committee will be screening the film “The American Nurse: Healing America” on Tuesday, May 8 at 10 a.m., 5 Ortho conference room. “The American Nurse: Healing America” explores some of the biggest issues facing America – aging, war, poverty, prisons – through the work and lives of five nurses. It is an examination of real people that will change how we think about nurses and how we wrestle with the challenges of healing America.
