I am excited to announce Maraya Thorland’s appointment as System VP of Strategy Execution and Core Transformation. In this role, which she began Feb. 24, Maraya will partner with leaders across UNC Health to drive successful implementation of our unified strategy.
Maraya holds a B.S. in Health and Public Policy from Michigan State, and an MPH from the University of Michigan. She also brings deep experience bridging the gap between strategy development and operations. In her prior roles as VP for the UNC Health Alliance, and previously at Biologics and Blue Cross Blue Shield of NC, Maraya developed expertise in managing large scale change programs, setting and tracking success measures, and empowering operational leaders in the execution of transformational strategies.
Please join me as we welcome Maraya to the Transformation and Experience Team!
