Teaching Scholars is a longitudinal faculty development program that develops participants’ skills in teaching and assessment. The application cycle is now open for the 2020-21 year. Read on to learn more.
The School of Medicine’s Teaching Scholars Program is now accepting nominations for the 2020-2021 year. This faculty development program is specifically designed for those individuals who have responsibility for educational programs or courses, or whose work includes a focus on teaching and who seek to develop their skills in that area.
Send your nominations to Judson MacDonald [email@example.com] by 11:59pm on Monday, August 17, 2020. Please include the following:
- nominee’s CV, and
- a short description of the rationale for your choice: how you think the individual, your department, and/or the School of Medicine would benefit from the program.
Please note the program will be limited to 10-12 participants; please ensure all nominees are able to make the commitment to prepare for and attend monthly sessions before submitting your nomination. The program will extend over the twelve-month period from September 2020 through August 2021. Click here for a list of this year’s session dates and topics.
