The Dean’s Performance Awards were created to honor exceptional School of Medicine staff not eligible for UNC Health Cash Awards. The nomination deadline has been extended to October 5, 2020.
Qualified nominees for the Dean’s Performance Awards are individuals or groups making significant contributions to help us reach our vision to be the top public School of Medicine. One $1,000 award will be given for each of the six strategic imperatives outlined in the SOM Strategic Plan, Forward Together.
Please provide recommendations of exceptional SOM co-workers for the annual Dean’s Performance Awards through your ACA, Basic Science/Center Business Managers or Administration Department Heads for submission. Each department, center, or administration office will then submit up to six nominations (one for each of six strategic imperatives: Research, Education, Faculty, Service, Diversity, Administrative Infrastructure) to the Dean’s Office for consideration.
