Tonia Poteat, PhD, MPH, assistant professor in the Department of Social Medicine, participated in two new reports on LGBTQ health.
One is the soon-to-be released National Academies report, “Understanding the Well-Being of LGBTQI+ Populations.” Dr. Poteat was a member of the committee for this report.
The other is a newly released statement by the American Heart Association, “Assessing and Addressing Cardiovascular Health in LGBTQ Adults.” Dr. Poteat was one of the co-authors for that report.
