The WebXchange paging and on-call scheduling system at UNC Medical Center, Chatham Hospital, WakeBrook and Hillsborough Hospital will be replaced by a new system.
At 5 a.m. on Tuesday, June 8, the WebXchange paging and on-call scheduling system at UNC Medical Center, Chatham Hospital, WakeBrook and Hillsborough Hospital will be replaced by a new system, “myUNC Health Directory,” which will become the primary platform for:
· Sending pages via the Web
· Managing and viewing on-call schedules
· New switchboard software for Hospital Operators
myUNC Health Directory will communicate with existing devices (e.g., Vocera, Spok pagers, cell phones that receive pages via text message, etc.) and will not require any change to these devices.
