UNC Medical Center is evaluating new tracheostomy tube vendors. Historically, Medtronic Shiley trachs have been used. However, Smiths Medical Portex tubes and Tracoe twist tubes are now being evaluation.
To allow co-workers to have the opportunity to see these products, ask questions and provide feedback, a workshop has been scheduled for Thursday, May 6. Both vendors will be in Cancer Conference Rooms 3 and 4 from 7 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
