The NC Department of Health and Human Services will require all death certificates to be submitted electronically using the NC Database Application for Vital Events starting May 1.
The NC Department of Health and Human Services (NC DHHS) will require all death certificates to be submitted electronically using NCDAVE (NC Database Application for Vital Events) starting May 1. All UNC Health physicians and APPs should have an account with NCDAVE and are encouraged to review these training materials in advance of the transition.
