Beginning in 2015, UNC Health Care will offer staff and physicians of non-State affiliates (i.e. Rex Healthcare, High Point Regional, Chatham, etc.) a new comprehensive and cost-effective health benefits package that includes the election of health, vision and dental plans. The health benefits package will save staff and UNC Health Care $6 million and is one of our first steps toward integrating as a System. State employees at UNC Health Care will remain on the State Health Plan.
