Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation - Global Grand Challenges - Ending the Pandemic Threat: A Grand Challenge for Universal Influenza Vaccine
The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation is accepting Letters of Inquiry (LOIs) to support unconventional approaches that effectively drive or harness immune responses in desired way and develop universal influenza vaccines that are ready to start clinical trials by 2021. The award amount is between $250,000 up to $2 million. The LOI deadline is June 22, 2018 by 11:30am PDT.

Transit service to Chatham County/Pittsboro
The Department of Public Safety has received numerous inquiries regarding the status of the Chatham County/Pittsboro (PX) transit service. At this time, Pittsboro and Chatham County have not committed to provide funding for the 2010-2011 year and service is scheduled to be discontinued on Aug. 14.

Medical Brigade to Ghana Winter 2013
UNC students are looking for medical students and doctors who are interested in traveling to Ghana this winter for a 10-day medical brigade. The brigade is run through the nonprofit organization Global Brigades.
