Seeking qualified applicants for the 2020 – 2021 academic year. The trainees will develop mastery in the following: reproductive hormonal physiology and signaling; methods for manipulating the reproductive system; and clinical phenomenology of reproductive mood disorders. Additionally, trainees will develop expertise in one of three methodological training tracks: Neurosciences, Genetics, or Stress Physiology. U.S. citizenship or permanent residency required.

Glaucoma is the leading cause of irreversible blindness worldwide and affects people of African descent disproportionately. A team of researchers from UNC Ophthalmology has published findings in the March 2019 issue of Ophthalmology demonstrating the highest incidence of glaucoma in the world in Ghana, West Africa.
