Kelly Bossenbroek Fedoriw, MD, has accepted the position of co-director of application phase in the School of Medicine. Bossenbroek Fedoriw is an associate professor in the UNC Department of Family Medicine.


A member of the UNC community since 2009, Bossenbroek Fedoriw has held numerous leadership positions in medical education, including serving an essential role in integrating the Family Medicine Clerkship into the Community Based Longitudinal Care course during the transition to the TEC curriculum.

She is nationally recognized for her work with the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine. A highly regarded Family Medicine physician, Dr. Bossenbroek Fedoriw is also passionate about the treatment of patients with opioid use disorder. In 2019, she earned certification from the American Board of Preventative Medicine in Addiction Medicine.
