Effective Jan. 29, 2017, eligibility criteria for both Holiday and Shift Premium Pay for various job classes will change in order to align UNC Health Care’s pay practices with our local market. The job class for both Holiday and Shift Premium Pay must be approved by Compensation Services.
- Holiday Premium Pay Eligibility – Other than House Supervisors, the employee must be in a Classified job and required to work on premium holidays.
- Shift Premium Pay Eligibility – The employee must be in a classified job and work at least 4 hours of the scheduled shift between 3 p.m. and 7 a.m. on a regular recurring basis.
