Join the 2020 Nursing Diversity Council virtual conference on Friday, Nov. 13.
The 2020 Nursing Diversity Council conference will be held virtually this year on Friday, Nov. 13 from 8 a.m. – noon. This conference is open to all staff and is free to Medical Center staff.
The Diversity Council started sponsoring an annual conference in 2009, and have now gone to an every-other-year format. In the past, the conference has explored different “dimensions” of diversity: poverty, mental health, race, language, gender, among others. This year the title is, “Providing Compassionate Patient Care in an Equitable and Inclusive Environment”.
