We are pleased to share information about a program for UNC Health and UNC School of Medicine employees to receive a subsidy toward the cost of childcare during COVID-19. Applications are due by 5PM on December 21, 2020.
The efforts of our entire UNC Health and School of Medicine team have been incredible over the past eight months in response to the COVID-19 crisis. We know many of our co-workers are juggling difficult demands at work and at home, including parents and caretakers who are searching for childcare solutions. We also recognize that these are uncertain financial times for some and the added cost of childcare can be a burden.
We are pleased to share information about a program for UNC Health co-workers (state employees at UNC Hospitals, UNC Faculty Physicians, and Shared Services departments), NC Health (Caldwell UNC Health Care, Chatham Hospital, UNC Physicians Network, UNC Group Practices, UNC REX, UNC Rockingham, and Shared Services departments) and UNC School of Medicine to receive a subsidy toward the cost of childcare during COVID-19:
- UNC Health/UNC School of Medicine Emergency Childcare Subsidy Program – Established through private donations to the UNC Health Foundation through the COVID-19 Response Fund, any co-worker may apply (including those who qualify for the NC DHHS program but don’t wish to pursue that option)
- UNC Health co-workers – Use this Application
- School of Medicine co-workers – Use this Application
Applications are due by 5 p.m. Dec. 21, 2020.
