The American Burn Association (ABA) conducted a site visit on June 18, 2021 of the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center. The ABA Burn Center Verification Review Committee approved the site report and has approved the Burn Center for re-verification as an Adult and Pediatric Burn Center through July 31, 2024. They commend the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center for its commitment to excellence and its dedication to providing quality burn care to patients.

The ABA Burn Center Verification Review Committee approved the site report and has approved the Burn Center for re-verification as an Adult and Pediatric Burn Center through July 31, 2024. They commend the North Carolina Jaycee Burn Center for its commitment to excellence and its dedication to providing quality burn care to patients.
The ABA found the Burn Center had no deficiencies and stated that they are ‘a mature burn program with dedicated resources, expert personnel, and regional impact. Notable positives included a unique vocational rehab program, a highly effective after-care program, and a translational research program.’
“Thanks to the tireless work, dedication and professionalism of the burn team and support from our partners here at UNC and in the community, NC Jaycee Burn Center has once again been reverified by the ABA as a pediatric and adult burn center,” said Booker T.
