Krista Perreira, PhD, professor of in the UNC Department of Social Medicine, and Jonathan Oberlander, PhD, professor and chair of the UNC Department of Social Medicine, co-authored an article on Hispanic children’s health insurance coverage and use of health services. Krista Perreira also co-authored a second article on Hispanic children’s health. These articles, which evaluate difference in health by Hispanic children’s backgrounds and analyze changes in coverage and barriers to health care access for Hispanic children, appears in a new volume of The Annals of the American Academy of Political and Social Science on Investing in Latino Children.
