William T. Grant Foundation Scholars Program 2022 applications are open. One applicant is allowed from each school and the UNC School of Medicine Office of Research is soliciting pre-applications from School of Medicine faculty within seven years of their terminal degree or seven years from the completion of residency.
Researchers interested in applying for a William T. Grant Scholars Award must select one research focus area related to the improvement of the lives of young people ages 5-25 and options are Reducing Inequality or Improving the Use of Research Evidence.
For the internal selection process, applicants should submit the following information by email to oor_submissions@med.unc.edu by 5pm on May 1:
- Brief summary/overview of Research Plan/Aims and how the project/applicant matches the selection criteria (1 page max)
- Mentor Letter
- CV
