Machine Learning Tools for Clinical Researchers: A Pragmatic Approach Event Series

This virtual seminar series will provide a background in the use of machine learning tools to answer clinical questions, understand the strengths and limitations of these methods, and examine real-world examples of machine learning methodology in clinical research. The series is co-sponsored by the UNC Core Center for Clinical Research and the UNC Program for Precision Medicine in Health Care.

UNC Health to Implement New Software to Support Cancer Care, Create Comprehensive Treatments

UNC Health will partner with Philips to implement evidence-based treatment paths using Philips Oncology Pathways software, a new clinical tool to help doctors match patients with the best possible chemotherapy regimen for their condition. The clinical content will be routinely refreshed in partnership with Harvard Medical School’s Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and other leading cancer centers across the country.
