One significant goal of UNC Health Care’s Human Resources Division is to provide current and accurate information about pay and benefits in a user-friendly format. With that in mind, the Employee Self Service module (ESS) in HRx Lawson is now activated for direct access by employees.
ESS contains five primary tabs (Employment, Life Events, Personal Information, Benefits, and Pay) with subtopic areas under each tab where you can view or make changes to the information depending on the topic. More details about the five primary ESS tabs are available here.
You can access ESS from the Intranet home page, from the “All Employees” section of the Intranet and from the HR Intranet home page. The ESS link is . Note that ESS only works in Internet Explorer. Firefox, Safari, Chrome and other web browsers are not supported.
To login to ESS, use the same login/password you use for email and UNC Health Care access.
