The UNC Center for Women’s Health Research is holding its second annual Women’s Health Research Poster Presentation and Awards Program. Submission is open to faculty, staff, graduate/undergraduate students, residents, and fellows.
The UNC Center for Women’s Health Research is continually seeking ways to promote the essential work being done by researchers in alignment with our mission: Learning about diseases, disorders, and conditions that uniquely affect women, predominantly affect women, and affect women differently than men.
This year we are proud to announce our second annual Women’s Health Research PosterPresentation and Awards Program to stimulate and showcase research being done by faculty and staff, graduate and undergraduate students, and postdocs (residents and fellows) of UNC and to encourage networking and multidisciplinary collaborations. The areas of focus are modeled after our biennial NC Women’s Health Report Card: Preventative Health, Perinatal Health, Chronic Disease, Obesity, Mental Health and Substance Use Disorders, Cancer, Infectious Diseases, Barriers to Care, and Aging as they relate to the health of women.
