Brandon Woodmancy was named Assistant Director of Scholarship and Awards for the UNC School of Medicine, and began in this role on November 8.

Brandon Woodmancy has been named Assistant Director of Scholarship and Awards. Woodmancy served as the Assistant Director of Disability Services for Randolph-Macon College in Ashland, VA. This unique role will report to Lisa Rahangdale, MD, MPH, Associate Dean for Admissions, and will support the teams handle scholarship and awards for School of Medicine students.
In this new role, Woodmancy will be directly responsible for the oversight and management of the MD program’s scholarship program. This position will have the responsibility of ensuring proper and full utilization of the scholarship funds available to medical students each year, maximizing the benefit of the student body population. He will also optimize processes for tracking scholarship dollars utilizing a variety of technologies to maximize both transparency and accuracy.
Woodmancy brings a plethora of experience in communication, customer service, planning, and training. His role as Assistant Director of Disability Services included a high level of data management and analysis which will be key to increasing opportunities for scholarship.
Woodmancy began his new role on November 8.
